Our Technologies

How do we do it?

We have developed two technologies that allow us to electronically control the directivity of loudspeaker arrays, they are:

Digital Directivity Control - DDC

DDC is a multi-channel loudspeaker array technology where each loudspeaker channel has its own dedicated audio path through the DSP and amplification. Each loudspeaker, or group of loudspeakers, is given their own unique set of filters, which enables users to electronically manipulate the vertical dispersion of an array. i.e. move the beam of sound up and down. This makes DDC the perfect solution for venues with a flat listening plane.

Digital Directivity Synthesis - DDS

When a solution for a more complex listening plane is needed e.g. a raked seating area or splt level, DDS is the answer.
DDS gives users the power to synthesize any desired 3D radiation pattern from a loudspeaker array (within the physical constraints of a pre-defined array e.g. transducer distance, array length etc.) to meet the specific needs of the venue.
