The AXYS^® U-14+

The AXYS^® U-14+ is part of our compact sound reinforcement systems. It represents an ultra-compact public address or sound distribution system. Self-powered and two-way actively controlled, the U14+ offers high acoustical output capability and true studio reference quality.

Inside the U-14+ are two 6.5" low frequency cone drivers with 1.5" voice coils, preventing power compression and providing high SPL capability. It also boasts a 1.1" ferrofluid cooled soft dome tweeter to ensure high definition and low distortion.

The U-14+ is an ultra compact loudspeaker system with high acoustical power capability (116 dBSPL continuously), On request the unit can be factory finished in any color in order to meet the architectural requirements. The U-14+ is supplied with a vertical U-bracket offering ease of installation. A horizontal U-bracket is available as an accessory.

The U-14+ offers superb fidelity and full bandwidth reproduction. If extended low-end reproduction is required the AXYS® UB-24, an optional active sub-woofer, can be easily integrated in a system set-up.

The AXYS® U-92

The U-92 is a compact, self-powered, and actively controlled two-way loudspeaker designed to perform in a wide range of sound reinforcement applications. Operation under extreme outdoor conditions were the basic prerequisites for developing the U-92 prototype. Improving upon the acoustical properties, while retaining the mechanical ruggedness, resulted in the final design.

Excellent Intelligibility

A high power 2 inch compression driver coupled to a diffraction unit of proprietary design in conjunction with a high efficiency 12 inch cone driver, ensures a very articulated reproduction of the entire voice band without compromise.

Small Dimensions

The diffraction unit was specially designed to enable the use of 2 inch drivers in small cabinets. Despite its 45 liter volume, the U-92 attains a continuous SPL (Sound Pressure Level) of 118dB. Accurate feedback compensation extends the low-end response to 52Hz. MULTI-PURPOSE

The U-92 is perfectly suited for fixed installations, public address applications, music playback systems, as well as delay or surround systems in theatres and cinemas. A weatherproof version is available for outdoor installations.

Optional Compatible Subwoofer

In situations requiring subsonic response, the U-92 may be operated with the optional AXYS® B-89A subwoofer. The modular input system, offered by the B-89A, enables single subwoofer operation in a stereo set-up (B-89AS).

The AXYS® U-97

The U-97 is especially designed to fulfill the needs of small and medium sized sports stadiums where a sound system only can be flown at a rather short distance to the audiance and thus requiring a wide dispersion pattern enabling to cover a tribune section, from bottom to top, with a single unit. A typical socker stadium only requires 5 units on the long edge and 3 units on the short edge, offering a great sounding system for a relatively low investment.

This system incorporates a RS485 connection enabling the possibility to implement the system in an AXYS® Audionet environment offering the possibility to control and monitor the system from a PC with the Audionet Navigator software program. All kinds of featurers are provided from zoning to frost protection, making the system very flexible in use and cutting operational costs to an absolute minimum.

The AXYS® UFM-265

The AXYS® UFM-265 'micro-sized' stage monitor will offer a new angle in sound reproduction. It represents the ultimate solution in all applications where unhindered sight lines are most important but still requiring a fold back system. The UFM-265 will also be the best choice in high end, low sound pressure level applications where very precise monitoring is on demand.

Two grips, forming part of the box itself, and of course its extremely light weight make the UFM-265 very ease to handle.

The AXYS® UFM-112

The UFM-112 represents a new approach in stage monitoring. It is a compact, self-powered and actively controlled two-way loudspeaker design.

The AXYS® UFM-212

The UFM-212 represents a new approach in stage monitoring. It is a compact, self-powered and actively controlled two-way loudspeaker design.

110° Coverage Angle

The AXYS® UFM-215

The AXYS® UFM-215 stage monitor is specially designed to fulfill the high SPL needs of today's large concert applications.

It is a compact, self-powered and actively controlled two-way loudspeaker design. The UFM-215 incorporates a 15 inch woofer and a 2 inch driver coupled to a true exponential horn with an opening angle of 60° (horizontal) x 50° (vertical). It also boasts an homogeneous dispersion pattern and a very low distortion rate.

The use of a custom manufactured 15 inch low frequency cone driver ensures a powerful bass and accurate low-mid response. The 2 inch driver employs a proprietary light weight composite diaphragm enabling very high acoustic output capability while maintaining very linear behavior.

These features together with the computer assisted optimized crossover filter design resulted in a stage monitor system with extreme good intelligible reproduction. The excellent low frequency output handles drum kits and bass guitar requirements with ease. A Multi band Dynamic Level Control (MDLC) protects against excessive long term power.

Each driver is driven by its own power amplifier. The amplifiers are protected against high temperature, dc, and mains over voltage. The sturdy Scandinavian birch plywood enclosure with ABS protection corners easily withstands road abuse.

AXYS® UB-24

The UB-24 subwoofer is designed to enhance the low-end response of the U-12+ and U-14+. The 6th order vented enclosure is loaded with a 12 inch bass driver featuring large excursion capability. The cabinet incorporates a folded duct which reduces cabinet dimensions to an absolute minimum. The amplifier chassis, which is derived from the U-92 power source, is provided with two balanced inputs, offering the possibility of both triplet configuration (1xU-24+2xU-12+) as well as full stereo set-up (2xU-24+2xU-14+).
